Second Hearing Scheduled for Senate Bills

A second hearing has been scheduled for the State Park Passport/funding proposal on Wednesday, April 22nd at 1pm. This is a Senate hearing before the Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs committee.

The hearing will be in room 110 of Farnum Building at 125 W. Allegan Street in Lansing.

April 1st Joint Hearing on House and Senate Bills

House Bill 4677 and House Bill 4678 were recently introduced. These bills mirror bills 388 and 389 which were  introduced earlier in the Senate and would implement generate sustainable funding for Michigan state parks.

There will be a joint House-Senate committee hearing on all four bills on April 1st at 8 AM. The committees are the House Great Lakes and Environment committee and the Senate Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs committee.

The hearing will be held in the Senate Hearing Room on the 1st Floor of the Boji Tower at 124 W. Allegan in Lansing.

Those unable to attend may still contact their state representative or state senator about these critical funding bills.
