Senate Bills 388 and 389 are Introduced

Senate Bill 388 and Senate Bill 389 were introduced today. Both were referred to the Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs committee.

The following state senators are members of the committee:

  • Senator Patty Birkholz (R-Saugatuck Twp; Dist. 24), Chair
  • Senator Gerald VanWoerkom (R-Norton Shores; Dist. 34), Vice Chair
  • Senator Raymond Basham (D-Taylor; Dist. 8), Majority Vice Chair
  • Senator Bruce Patterson (R-Canton; Dist. 7)
  • Senator John Gleason (D-Flushing; Dist. 27)

The committee expects to hold a hearing on these bills on March 25th at 1pm.

The March 25th hearing has been postponed. 

We urge Michigan residents to contact their senators in support of these bills.
